10 Daily Habits to keep Your House Clean

It doesn’t take much to keep your house clean. You won’t have to be embarrassed when your guests or friends walk into your home without any notice.

Make a to-do list and follow it every day. You won’t even notice the last time you cleaned your house.

Start by making your bed

If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.
~ Admiral Willaim H McRaven

Most people think making their bed is a waste of time. The 5min chore is one of the laziest activity around the house. It really makes a difference when you take out a time to make your bed first thing in the morning. If you really give it a thought, it starts off the day well.

To make things easier, simplify your bedding as much as possible. Cut on any extra cushion, pillows, or blankets. This helps to minimize the clutter.

Clean your bedroom

There are things other than your bed which you may need to arrange on a daily basis. Arrange your clothes; pick and pile up the clothes from the floor, chair, and sofa, clean your wardrobe, arrange your books. If required, vacuum the carpet.

Seeing a cleaner bedroom really helps to keep you active and agile. If you work from your bedroom, this can be a great tip to keep you fresh.

One load of laundry per day

Doing laundry every day can be a hassle. To ease off the chore, you can get in the habit of putting in one load of laundry first thing in the morning. If you work outside of the home and won’t have a chance to dry it before you leave, put your machine on delay {if you have this as a feature} so it will be ready to put in the dryer when you get home.

Clean high traffic Areas

The high traffic areas in your home like the living room, kitchen, and bathroom can accumulate more dirt and germs than any other part of the home. If you can maintain these areas on regular basis, you won’t have to be embarrassed when a guest walks in suddenly.

Vacuum your living area carpets and upholstery regularly, clean the kitchen counter tops and stoves after use, and don’t hesitate to clean your bathroom every day. A bathroom needs daily sanitation to maintain a hygienic setting.

Take away the garbage every day

Don’t forget to put out the garbage bag every morning or evening. You won’t have to worry about the infestation of germs when you regularly displace your garbage. Most germs inside the house infest when you forget to clean away the garbage and residue from your bathroom and kitchen.

Reuse or Recycle products

You can automatically reduce the waste by either reusing it or recycling it. Most plastic waste that comes out of the house can be reused. If it seems that you can’t reuse the product, you can recycle the product by taking it to your recycling center.

When you follow these step and clean your home every day, you can keep your home maintained and hygienic.
